Our Oil
"Ager Pretutianus" is the name of this area, where the Pretutian people managed to preserve olive cultivation since the 3rd century BC. The olive grove includes Frantoiana, Carboncella, Tortiglione, Melarancia, and Pendolino, as well as other ancient varieties in small numbers and several trees which grow olives for eating. The olive grove is located between the Gran Sasso and the Adriatic Sea, at an altitude of 120 meters above sea level.

All work is done by hand. Harvesting is carried out using electric olive harvesters. The olives are processed quickly after harvest at an external cold-press mill. We harvest each variety separately in the early stages of ripening, creating small yields of excellent quality. The field was once used for growing wheat. Now it is covered with wild grass which is occasionally mowed.
